UK: The partnership brings seven new properties into Best Western’s portfolio of hotels across Great Britain.

Two Laura Ashely properties, The Iliffe in Coventry and The Belsfield in Bowness-on-Windermere, along with five other Corus properties, including the Hyde Park Hotel in London and the St James Hotel in Grimsby, will join the Best Western GB group.

2019 was a record-breaking period of growth for Best Western GB, and the company is now on track to top this in the coming year.

Head of hotel development at Best Western GB, Mark Stanley, said: "The Corus and Laura Ashley agreement is the perfect way to start 2020, and continues our success of 2019, which was a fantastic year for Best Western. We are incredibly proud to be working alongside this prestigious group, and especially to welcome our first two activations of World Hotels outside of London. We look forward to activating these brilliant properties, and a lot more, throughout 2020."

Yet King Loy, CEO of Corus Hotels, added: "We are delighted that our group of hotels is able to link with Best Western to gain wider market coverage and to provide an enhanced experience to our guests. We hope to expand our collection of Laura Ashley Hotels in conjunction with our Best Western partnership."

Best Western is a collection of over 260 independent hotels in Great Britain.
