Wizme announces advisory board

Worldwide: Wizme, an SaaS platform for meetings and events, has created an advisory board which includes leaders from across the industry.

Collectively the board will help guide the evolution of the Wizme product and help to establish its market position with the aim to facilitate the meetings and events sector’s return to business.

The board includes:

• Carol Fergus, director of global travel, events and ground transportation, Fidelity International

• David Clare, managing director, The Business Travel Network

• Helen Hodgkinson, travel payment specialist, 

• Jan T Jacobsen, co-founder and owner, Quality Lifestyle Worldwide Ltd

• Jason Nash, director of product management, Black Swan Data

• Jason Purcell, managing partner, Jason Purcell Distribution 

• Jo-Anne Lloyd, partner, Nina & Pinta

• Leigh Cowlishaw, managing partner, Black Box Partnerships

• Lisa Boissel, managing director, Miss Jones PA

• Mariska Kesteloo, founder, Word of MICE

• Raj Shah, group commercial director, Arora Hotels

• Sam Cande, event director, The PA Show Mash Media

• Simone Buckley, CEO, Fello Travel

• Sumit Gupta, head of client and supplier management, Blue Cube Travel

• Stella Hart, commercial and group revenue professional

The board will be charged by Sandy Moring, managing director, Strategic Travel Solutions Ltd, and will be supported by Steve Allen, director of The Firebird Partnership.

Nour Mouakke, CEO and founder of Wizme, said: “It’s a privilege to have these industry leaders helping to put Wizme on the map. Their insight, suggestions and challenges are providing fresh impetus and inspiration to the Wizme team.”

Wizme recently announced a partnership with Globe Secure Accreditation to evaluate and organise venues on Wizme's site according to the ISO 31030 Travel Risk Management standard.
