Two senior appointments for Bespoke Hotels

UK: Bespoke Hotels has appointed Graham Marskell and Duncan Poole to its board.

Marskell, formerly the group's operations manager has been promoted to group operations director, while Duncan Poole has been appointed to the board as non-executive director.

Marskell brings 30 years of hotel experience to the company. Having trained at Hotel School in Switzerland he went on to hold management positions in town and country Houses such as Inverlochy Castle, Ettington Park, Bath Priory and The Feathers at Woodstock. He has held general manager roles at Flitwick Manor, Woodlands Park, Cobham and Richmond Gate Hotels before taking a role as operations director.  He has also been instrumental in the refurbishment and reopening of six hotels.

Poole is a director at The William Pears Group and leads the group's investment activity within the hospitality sector. Previously, he was head of hotels for West Register, the real estate work-out vehicle of The Royal Bank of Scotland. During his time with West Register, he led the acquisition of over 50 hotel properties including the restructuring and joint venture acquisition of the Jarvis Hotels group. He also brings with him former experience in the capital markets team at CBRE Hotels where he advised on around €3billion of hotel transactions across the EMEA region.
