Hong Kong: IHG has appointed Bryan Gabriel as general manager of the Hotel Indigo Hong Kong island in Wan Chai.

Gabriel will oversee all stages of the pre-opening and opening of the 29-storey, 138-room property.

He brings extensive industry experience to the project having spent the last 20 years working throughout Asia and Australia, at properties including The Establishment in Sydney and the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport in Singapore.

"It is an inspiring opportunity to be appointed to oversee Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island. We are creating something truly intriguing and culturally rich in a neighbourhood of Hong Kong that boasts many of the city's newest art galleries, restaurants and shopping destinations. We look forward to sharing this new experience in Hong Kong with our well travelled and savvy guests in an architectural environment that is both striking in design and intimate in its service," said Gabriel.
