TravelClick and The Guestbook enter into partnership to increase hotel direct bookings

New York: TravelClick has agreed a partnership deal with The Guestbook, an instant cash-back rewards program, to increase the number of direct bookings for TravelClick’s indep

By entering into this partnership, it will be easier for TravelClick hotels to learn from and implement The Guestbook's additional cash-back options and turn-key offering as well as utilise their global network of more than 600 boutique and independent hotels.

Curtis Brewer, SVP, reservations and web solutions at TravelClick said: "The Guestbook partnership allows our hoteliers to participate in a high-value loyalty program and offer additional book-direct incentives to guests.

"This comes following June's launch of Reward and Redeem, TravelClick's customisable points-based loyalty program ideal for larger groups, and provides another option for independent hoteliers looking to join a loyalty network."

One place that has benefited noticeably from the partnership is Q&A Residential Hotel in New York City. When The Guestbook reward program was active on TravelClick's iHotelier Booking Engine 4.0, direct booking conversions at the hotel increased by 25%. As a result, it now offers The Guestbook as an additional benefit for all guests who book direct.

CEO of Q&A Hotel and Furnished Quarters, Steve Brown, said: "Independent hotels need to do more to gain loyalty from guests and compete with big brands.

"In addition to offering huge, stylish suites and a unique guest experience, using TravelClick and The Guestbook, we are now more likely to capture business travellers and ensure they book directly when they are choosing accommodations," he added.
