Israel: A lifeguard tower on Frishman beach in Tel Aviv will become a hotel suite hosting international competition winners.

The City of Tel Aviv, the Israel Tourism Ministry and the Brown Hotels GroupUrban Collection have teamed up for the initiative. The lifeguard tower will be transformed into a luxurious hotel suite, the first of its kind in the world, in which the guests will be winners of an international competition.

The accommodation will be provided to the competition winners (one couple from each country) who will be flown to Israel for a four-day vacation in Tel Aviv, during the period March 15 to 25. Their first night will be spent inside the newly re-furbished lifeguard tower at Frishman Beach, which will be renovated to meet the criteria of a five-star hotel. Guests will enjoy amenities including a personal butler, shower, breakfast, and room service.

The lifeguard tower pop-up boutique hotel is designed by Rafael Edger, with interiors by Aline Langlieb and exterior graffiti by artist Edgar Rafael.
