Joie de Vivre adds Hawaii hotels

US: Joie de Vivre Hotels has added the Coconut Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu to its collection of boutique hotels, its first in Hawaii.

The 81-room art deco-inspired property is three blocks from the world famous Waikiki Beach. It will soon be followed by the Seaside Hotel Waikiki which will be renamed once it joins the Joie de Vivre collection upon completion of its current renovation.

Founding in San Francisco in 1987, Joie de Vivre now has more than 30 hotels in its management portfolio. It manages the largest collection of boutique hotels and resorts in California and is expanding outside the state with openings in Scottsdale and Chicago, as well as the Hawaiian properties.
