Forbes Travel Guide launches ‘Hospitality Strong’ series

Worldwide: Forbes Travel Guide (FTG) has announced its Hospitality Strong initiative, designed to engage, educate and elevate furloughed and laid-off hospitality staff during the novel coronavirus crisis.

The webinar series is scheduled to take place from April 23 to June 25 2020.

Hospitality Strong will be delivered by FTG’s learning and development team, and sessions will feature a mix of hospitality principles illustrated with stories and visuals.

Filip Boyen, CEO at FTG, said: “It has been devastating to see our beloved hospitality industry come to such a sudden pause during this unprecedented time. This is our contribution to the collective industry effort that will be needed to rebuild and strengthen hospitality following the crisis.” 

Jeff Wielgopolan, senior vice president of learning and development, added: “An exceptional guest experience always starts with the committed and passionate staff. We hope these resources help hospitality staff who work so hard to serve us all.” 

Topics will range from ‘A Timeless Service Philosophy for Uncertain Times’ to ‘Leading Through Luxury’.
