Europe: The group has launched an initiative to transform its hotel rooms into home offices, designed for people to work amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The rooms, which cost €50 per day or €200 for a weekly pass (Monday-Friday), include high-speed wifi, a Nespresso coffee machine and tea, an exercise bike, and a bluetooth speaker. Customers can also bring their pets along.

The offer is available at select hotels across Europe, including Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Cologne, Vienna and Zurich.

The group has waived cancellation policies as a result of travel bans. Guests that have booked a stay with arrival prior to April 30 2020 can change their reservation for future travel until April 2021 without incurring a fee.

Additionally, those guests that reside in an area designated by the WHO as a risk area can modify or cancel their booking free of charge to any date within the current year.

Similarly, those with a stay booking between March 17 and April 1 2020 can also modify or cancel their reservation and get a refund.
