Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens adds two members to F&B Team

UK: Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens have added two new key appointment to their food and beverage team.

Alexio Sequeira has joined as restaurant manager of the Oak Room Restaurant, and Alessio Porcedda as bar manager of Library Bar.

Sam Aziz, general manager, said of the appointments: “I am so pleased to welcome Aleixo and Alessio to the Tylney Hall team and look forward to working with them to enhance our guest’s experience. Both have a unique opportunity to showcase their expert skills and drive the business further, so it is an exciting time for Tylney Hall Hotel.” 

Sequieira boasts a storied record, with managerial roles at Kerridges Bar and Grill at Corinthia Hotel London, and Holborn Dining Room at Rosewood Hotel London. His experience, confidence and self-starting attitude will help him lead the 30-person front of house staff as well as working closely with the kitchen staff.

Alessio brings with him experience in America, with two WSET sommelier qualifications and a qualification in the United States. His experience in bar management as well as versatility and passion will help him lead the bar.

The hotel’s owner, Elite Hotels, have been improving their offerings recently. They have recently opened their management training program, and have begun a culinary development program with Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club.
