UK: A pub in Leytonstone, The Red Lion, has announced the arrival of 10 boutique hotel rooms above its bar.

Each room, including one family suite, has been decorated with vintage furniture sourced from Sunbury and Sandown Antiques Market, as well as second-hand shops from across London.

Original features like the property's fireplaces have been restored, whereas the modern integration of smart LED televisions can be found in all the bedrooms.

Rooms come also stocked with Nespresso coffee, Aromatherapy Associates products, as well as breakfast goods from local bakery, The Wild Goose Bakery.

Additionally, the family suite features a reading corner lined with beanbags and bedtime stories, along with bunk beds and reading lights.

Guests can access their rooms via their mobile phones thanks to the keyless entry system.

Function Room

Also known as the Leytonstone Ballroom, the pub's function room is a venue for weddings and live music events. The room was the first London venue that Led Zeppelin played.

With a strong focus on British fare, The Red Lion's menu is seasonally rotating. Vegan options are also available.
