UK: The Alchemy-backed group has purchased a landmark Cumbrian coaching inn, The Swan in Grasmere.
The 38-bedroom The Swan marks the 14th property in the group’s portfolio. It closely follows that of The Black Swan in Helmsley, Yorkshire.
The Inn Collection made its Lake District debut in December last year with the opening of The Ambleside Inn.
The transaction was advised by Newcastle-based law firm Ward Hadaway, with Jones Lang Lasalle on pre-acquisition diligence, alongside Clive Owen LLP.
The group is supported through banking by OakNorth.
