Maldives: Renowned skincare expert Teresa Tarmey to begin residency at the world’s only underwater spa in Huvafen Fushi

Teresa Tarmey will take up a residency at the soon-to-be re-launched Maldives luxury resort Huvafen Fushi, home to the world's first and only underwater spa.

From December 2017, guests will have access to Tarmey's celebrated facials in the luxurious Huvafen Spa treatment rooms situated in the lagoon, eight metres deep in the Indian Ocean.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience the power of Teresa's own hands in the unique surroundings of Huvafen Spa during one of her periodic visits to the island, the first of which is confirmed for 29 March - 5 April 2018.

Tarmey said: "I'm so excited to be part of this impressive relaunch.  I've visited Huvafen Fushi several times now, to ensure my residency is exactly as I want it to be.  The team are fantastic, the location is unbelievable and I can't wait for my current and new clients to experience my Signature Facial in such a breath-taking setting.  I pride myself on constantly learning and developing, in the quest for skincare perfection, continuing to train in and embrace massage procedures developed in a range of different countries, including the Parisian, Korean and Japanese massage techniques.  Launching in the Maldives will allow me to enhance my experience and understanding further."

Tarmey specialises in innovative products and technology, ranging from NeoStrata, Mesoestetic, Heliocare, Exuviance to skin rejuvenation, resurfacing and advanced anti ageing treatments.

The Huvafen Fushi resort features 43 bungalows.It first opened in July 2004, targeting the luxury travel market.
