Wales: Palé Hall, located on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, is to close for eight weeks from 23 March to support the government initiative to reduce public gatherings.

Announced in a statement, the hotel will support its staff with wages throughout the closure, with plans to re-open on 15 May 2020.

Alan Harper, Palé Hall owner, said:We have taken this step to protect our staff and guests from further risk of exposure to the virus. We at Palé Hall also feel that it is a positive way to support the government initiatives to reduce public gatherings in order to limit the further spread of the virus.”

“Our reservation team will continue to answer the telephones and respond to emails during this closure period. We will be continuing to fully pay our staff through this period as this closure is at no fault of their own.”

“Guests who have a reservation to stay or dine at Palé Hall during this closure period will be contacted by our reservation team to discuss their options. We will do everything possible to enable you to reschedule your visit to Palé Hall to a suitable date later in the year,” Harper ended.
