UK: Hotel du Vin this week relaunches its Bistros in York and Harrogate, following a complete refurbishment.

The announcement comes at a time of significant investment for the brand, spearheaded by Guus Bakker, chief executive officer at Malmaison Hotel du Vin. The Group has recently unveiled a number of other Bistro refurbishments across the brand, including Winchester and Cambridge, and will continue to do so over the next 24 months.

Hotel du Vin York features 16 globed chandeliers in the centre of the Bistro and banquet style seating has been introduced to give guests a semi private dining experience.

Meanwhile Hotel du Vin Harrogate features relaxed setting, designed to encourage guests to relax and take their time while dining.

Hotel du Vin has also introduced a new Prix Fixe menu, with traditional French food from regionally sourced ingredients.

Matt Strawford, general manager of Hotel du Vin York, said: "We've worked hard to transform the space and are delighted with the result. We're really excited to reveal our new Bistro to our guests, and welcome back our local regulars - we hope they will love it as much as we do."

Adam Green, general manager of Hotel du Vin Harrogate, added: "The team and I can't wait to open the doors of our new Bistro - we're so happy with the new look and are excited to share it with our guests."
