Sri Lanka: Cantaloupe Hotels has announced that it will open a world-class surfing hotel

Cantaloupe Hotels has announced that it will open a luxury specialist surfing hotel and surf school in Sri Lanka.

Located in Midigama, the 18 room Cantaloupe Veralu Verala will provide a year-round Sri Lankan surfing destination and marine tourism hotspot. In partnership with travel network The Perfect Wave, Cantaloupe Hotels will offer a number of Sri Lankan surfing packages ranging from tours for experienced surfers to complete beginners.

The group's first boutique hotel, Cantaloupe Aqua, opened in Talpe in 2013, and was followed a year later by Cantaloupe Levels in Rumassala. Cantaloupe Veralu Verala is set to open in 2018.
