Boutique hotel arrives in Uptown Phoenix

US: Arizona high-rise buildings will be converted into a luxury hotel
Developers are planning to convert two abandoned mid-century high-rise buildings in Central Phoenix into a luxury boutique hotel.
Arrive Phoenix will have 79 rooms, a poolside taco bar, rooftop cocktail bar, coffee shop and gourmet ice cream shop, according to a news release. The renovation project will be led by Vintage Partners and Venue Projects.
This will be the third property for California-based Arrive hotels. The original opened in Palm Springs, California and the second, Arrive East Austin, is currently in construction.
Principal at Vintage Partners, Walter Crutchfield said: "both buildings feature that classic low-slung, yet light and window-lined look that helped put Phoenix on the architectural map in postwar America."
