UK: Artist Residence Oxfordshire awarded top hospitality and culinary accolades

Artist Residence Oxfordshire has been awarded 5 Stars for the hotel and 2 rosettes for its restaurant from The AA.

Artist Residence Oxfordshire is the fourth property from husband and wife hoteliers Justin and Charlotte Salisbury. The hotel opened in July of this year. Mr Hanbury's Mason Arms, the hotel's pub dining venue, was also included in the Michelin Eating Out in Pubs Guide 2017.

Proprietor Charlotte Salisbury said: "We are absolutely thrilled to have been acknowledged by The AA for the quality of our newest hotel in Oxfordshire, and for Leon's outstanding cooking for Mr Hanbury's Mason Arms. A lot of hard work has been poured into the project over the past year and we're all really proud".

Located in the Oxfordshire countryside, Artist Residence Oxfordshire is a 16th Century country pub and restaurant with 5 bedrooms. Designed by Charlotte and Justin, the en-suite bedrooms in the eaves are each individually designed in an English bohemian style.

In creating the menu for Mr Hanbury's Mason Arms, head chef Leon Smith focused on "rummaging through nature's larder," focusing on seasonal, locally-available and wild produce.
