UAE: Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Andaz Dubai The Palm in the heart of Dubai’s man-made island, The Palm Jumeirah.

The opening marks the second Andaz branded hotel to launch in the United Arab Emirates, following Andaz Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi in 2018.

It features 217 guest rooms, including 34 suites and 116 residences.

Rooms are inspired by the Emirati culture with bespoke artwork and luxury amenities, and the suites comprise 31 Andaz Suites, one Terrace Suite, one Prince Suite, and one Royal Suite - all fitted with premium amenities, a separate living room and dining area, a terrace, a rain shower and a deep soaking tub.

The five dining venues consist:

  • The Locale - a ground floor restaurant featuring an alfresco terrace, open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Hanami - a fifteenth-floor venue serving cocktails and sharing plates with a contemporary take on Japanese Izakaya, inspired by cherry blossom-gazing parties during Sakura season.
  • Knox - an underground speakeasy bar in an industrial-esque space.
  • The Andaz Lounge - featuring a library and full-service bar.
  • La Coco - a neighbourhood beach club and lounge that offers casual bites and poolside drinks. It is expected to open in the second half of 2020.

The fourteenth-floor of the hotel is home to Ora, the spa. An adult's only Cabana pool area and fitness centre can be found on the same level.

The hotel also offers approximately 6,350 square-feet of flexible studio space for events.
