UK: Award winning rural resort Dormy House has announced a new suite with unique design notes.

The Studio, created by owner and design director Nette Reynolds, emphasises a use of warm materials and relaxing environments, in line with modern Scandinavian style.

The suite, which measures 980 square feet, is now the largest offered suite at the luxury hotel, emphasising both open space and coziness. It uses unique coloring as well as one-off furniture pieces inspired by the natural surroundings of the Cotswold countryside to create a feeling reminiscent of the danish idea of Hygge.

Stephen Browning, Dormy House general manager, said: "The launch of The Studio marks another milestone in the continued success of Dormy House and further strengthens its reputation as one of the UK's best countryside hotels. We now have a total of 11 suites here at Dormy and all are extremely popular with our guests, having been individually designed to provide the greatest levels of comfort, space and modern design."

It also offers a series of unique features, primarily its own music den. The room includes a curated vinyl collection, turntable and state of the art sound system, which is noted to be ideal for creating relaxation and immersion.

The suite also features the utmost in technology: free wifi, two 4K 65" Samsung Smart TVs, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom features double rainfall showers, a series of luxury products, and a freestanding bathtub.

This is not the only improvement being made at Dormy House. The hotel appointed a new head chef two weeks ago, and a new general manager in December.
