UK: Entering its eighth year, the Trainee Management Programme with Elite Hotels is now open and closes on 28 February 2020.

The 20-month scheme will guide budding hospitality professionals through a range of activities that teach key skills for a career in management.

Core modules focus around different hotel departments, from conference and banqueting to marketing and concierge.

Applicants will receive mentoring from senior managers at Elite Hotels, and will spend time at the group's four-and-five star hotels: Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club, Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa, Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens, and The Grand Hotel - all located in the south of England.

Graeme Bateman, managing director of the Elite Hotel Group, said: "One of our key values at Elite Hotels Group is nurturing up-and-coming hospitality talent, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals to hone skills and grow in confidence, so it is a pleasure to train and work with the next generation of hospitality leaders".

"Previously we have been able to offer permanent job roles to all trainee managers that have completed the scheme, which is testament to the hard work and dedication the trainees and Elite team put in, to ensure the programme is a success. It is a great joy to watch our trainee managers' continued growth as Elite employees and in the wider sector," continued Bateman.

Successful applicants will be invited to an assessment day in April, ahead of the September 2020 start. The programme is open to anyone who is studying or working within the industry.
