Thailand: Unicorn Hospitality’s latest boutique hotel in Bangkok’s Sam Yot district will open for bookings on February 14, 2020.

The 47-key property comprises a variety of rooms, from solo-friendly superior rooms to couple-focused premium and deluxe rooms, as well as the Mahachai and Pranakorn suites.

Rooms feature rain showers with some offering a standalone bath, and eco-friendly company Panpuri has supplied amenities made from bamboo or packed in stone paper.

Every room also comes equipped with two complimentary water bottles that can be refilled free-of-charge, as the hotel is working with Nordaq - a water filtration company enabling the production of drinking water onsite.

Other amenities include a swimming pool and pool bar, a fitness centre, a signature restaurant serving Thai and pan-Asia dishes, as well as a lobby bar.

"I am delighted to announce the launch of Villa de Pranakorn. Our beautiful new boutique retreat is perfectly positioned in the historical heart of Bangkok, just a short distance from many of the city's most iconic attractions. And yet, this unique location also allows visitors to step off the beaten track and unearth some of the capital's most authentic and intriguing local gems. I look forward to welcoming our first guests in February 2020," said Erik Lannge, the hotel's general manager.

Unicorn Hospitality, a Thai hotel management company, currently operates seven hotels. By early 2021, the collection is set to grow to 12 properties as the company aims to triple its portfolio over the next year.

The six brands offered by the company include: Unicorn Hotels & Resorts, KLY Hotels & Resorts, HANGOUT by KLY, LIVE by KLY, ZAZZ Hotels, and The Unchained Collection.
