US: Hotel technology provider, Pegasus & Travel Tripper (PTT), have converted 52 per cent of corporate RFP targets for 700 partner hotels for 2020.

Each year, hotels compete to secure new requests for proposals (RFP) from global corporations, which could result in profitable business from these firms in the coming year.

The global sales team at PTT, which represents corporate and consortia account management, supports more than 700 hotels across 300 locations.

For the 2020 season, the team evaluated almost 4,000 corporate targeting requests, with 52 per cent of corporate targets already converted. There is potential to increase this figure in quarter four.

Collectively, the team helps partner hotels generate more than $300 million in annual bookings from these channels.

"Not only are we able to support our hoteliers with new contract wins, we support travel buyers with valuable proposals, backed by our technology, which is designed to reduce their program procurement fees," said Alexander Ryll, director of global corporate sales for PTT.

Elaine Kennedy, VP hotel market planning for PTT, added: "Being able to consult and help hoteliers make informed decisions about the most relevant global inbound top sources of business for their hotel, no matter what the destination happens to be, is the most rewarding job in the world."

Pegasus and Travel Tripper recently merged to form a global technology provider that empowers independent hotels, hotel groups, and large chains to maximise their reservations through cloud-based solutions.
