Australia: Boutique hotel brand Lancemore Group has recruited Luke Moran as its new chief operating officer.

Moran has spent the past decade with Mantra Group, most recently as executive director of sales, marketing, revenue and distribution. Other positions include senior operational roles with Langham, Sheraton and Hayman Island.

Moran will be joining Andrew Turner, group director of development; Marissa Zhang, group director of finance; Chantelle Veness, group director of sales and marketing; and Kieun Ko, group revenue manager.

CEO, Julian Clark, commented on Moran's appointment: "I believe that senior talent is fundamental to the success of any business and we have managed to assemble a top tier executive team. Indeed, Lancemore is proud to have senior industry leaders across all executive roles and have become something of a destination for senior talent that want to grow our company into a significant regional player and continue to elevate our award-winning brand."

Moran added that he was honoured to be joining an organisation with strong values and a commitment to managing best-in-class boutique hotels: "The opportunity to lead a high quality team and apply my experience over the past 28 years within senior operational and commercial roles, provides a rare chance to be part of something unique."
