Peru: The Hotel Indigo Lima Miraflores will be the brand’s first property in South America, and is set to open in early 2022.

Owned by Inmobiliaria Vistamar and managed by IHG, the 76-room hotel will be located close to the shopping centre of Larcomar.

Offering six luxury suites, the boutique property will also feature a locally inspired restaurant and bar, a fitness centre, as well as private gardens for outdoor functions.

Additionally, the hotel's underground parking will offer street access to the area's main thoroughfare on Alcanfores Street.

Fuenzalida & Swinburn Architect Associates is the project architect, whereas German Margozzini - Arquitectura Diseño Interior Hospitality Spa will oversee the interior design and décor.

Elie Maalouf, chief executive officer, Americas, IHG, commented: "Our portfolio of brands continues to expand throughout Latin America thanks to relationships with passionate owners such as Inmobiliaria Vistamur. Peru is thriving with one of the strongest economies in the region, and we are pleased to introduce these leading global luxury and lifestyle brands to business and leisure travellers in the market."

The Hotel Indigo brand now has more than 100 hotels open worldwide, and is set to double its footprint over the next five years.
