FR: Hotel group Accor has granted Karelle Lamouche the newly appointed role of chief commercial officer for Europe.

A key responsibility for Lamouche will involve driving the company's business revenue strategy across Europe, with a vision to create a more "holistic, integrated and customer-centred approach" across all 36 Accor brands.

Chief executive of Accor Europe, Franck Gervais, explained Lamouche's duty: "Karelle will develop the strategy for all of Europe, leading and implementing an innovative approach to identify new commercial opportunities and harness the existing brand, sales, revenue and customer channels."

Gervais added: "This is a key role for the business and the combination of Karelle's entrepreneurial mindset, strategic vision, and ability to collaborative effectively with groups from across the business makes her the perfect fit for such a critical position."

As a member of the Accor team since 2003, Lamouche has previous experience as senior vice president for sales and marketing, distribution and revenue management in Northern Europe and the UK. Prior to this, she was senior vice president for economy and budget hotels in the UK.

Lamouche added that Accor is committed to "continued responsiveness, vision and dynamism" in delivering the best guest experience.

Accor's current portfolio consists of 4,800 hotels across 100 countries.
