UK: The Oddfellows Collection has announced further investment into its apartment offering at two different locations.

The company's design-led boutique hotel in Chester city centre will be adding an additional apartment to its portfolio, taking its total up to five apartments.

The accommodation is set in a cobbled enclave by the River Dee, a short walk from the luxury Georgian townhouse hotel on Bridge Street.

Similarly, Oddfellows On the Park will be introducing its first two-bedroom apartment on the outskirts of Manchester.

The conversion of Bruntwood Hall will offer larger accommodation space for the increasing number of guests who spend more than one night at the hotel, as well as providing mini-break lodgings for families or groups that are visiting Manchester.

Hotel manager at Oddfellows On the Park, Carlo Iulianella, said: "We are excited about the prospect of opening our first apartment and joining our Chester hotel with its excellent apartment offering. Our beautiful setting in the heart of Bruntwood Park will offer the perfect opportunity for guests to unwind in a home-from-home environment. As well as leisure business, we're delighted that we will be able to offer a unique space for wedding families and longer corporate stays."

"We are meeting with designers soon to start the process, but we plan to be able to offer a luxurious two-bedroomed apartment. The interiors, like the hotel, will reflect the playful spirit of Oddfellows and highlight the history of the beautiful hall we inhabit," Iulianella added.

Paul Brown, regional director at Bespoke Hotels, which manages Oddfellows Hotels for its owners, commented: "Apartments at Oddfellows have enjoyed a consistently high demand ever since the first apartment came on board in Chester almost five years ago. The apartments offer the best of both worlds for our guests. They can enjoy privacy, home comforts, and an authentic sense of place - all of the factors that has stimulated the Airbnb effect over the last yew years, with the added benefits of luxury and convenience with restaurants, bars, and housekeeping on tap."
