US: Luxury hotel, the Ghost Light Inn, will open along the Delaware River in New Hope, August 1st 2019.

Home to the restaurant Stella, by chef Jose Garces, the Ghost Light Inn is described by its owners, Sherri and Kevin Daughtery, as offering "refined and elegant" hospitality.

Located next door to the Bucks County Playhouse, a new promenade runs parallel to the Delaware River, connecting the Playhouse to the end of the inn.

With 12 on-site rooms and a further three more in an adjacent carriage house, the Ghost Light Inn takes its name after the theatrical tradition of a standing lamp left burning on stage, providing safety for cast and crew members.

"The theme of the ghost light runs throughout the inn - in lobby areas, rooms, and in photographs of Bucks County Playhouse," said information provided by the inn, as designed by Ralph C. Fey Architects.

"We are grateful to have had the opportunity to bring Broadway back to the Playhouse and are very excited to be able to bring Iron Chef, Jose Garces, to this beautifully renovated waterfront restaurant and inn," added owner, Kevin Daughtery.

Other features of the new hotel include Juliet balconies overlooking the river, welcome sweets sourced from a local chocolatier, and personal coffee machines in every room. The accommodation is also dog friendly.
