UK: Managing director at Dukes London, Debrah Dhugga, will be leaving her position to begin a new role as COO at The Apartment Group in September.

For the past ten years, Dhugga has managed Dukes London - a quintessential British hotel close to Buckingham Palace - and oversaw the launch of Dukes Dubai in 2016.

"It's been a wonderful experience and I have so many fabulous memories and worked with some amazing people," Dhugga said.

Speaking on her new role, she commented: "I am very much looking forward to joining TAG and the new challenge it will bring, as well as moving back to an area I am very passionate about."

Reporting to Duncan Fisher, founder of The Apartment Group, Dhugga's new operational responsibilities involve overseeing brand development, as well as working closely with the team to assist with the group's expansion plans.

"Debrah is extremely talented with an unrivalled passion for the hospitality industry, and we are thrilled and privileged to welcome her to the team," said Fisher. "She will be a key component in helping TAG move into its next stage of growth."

Dhugga added: "This was too good an opportunity to turn down, yet hard to walk away from a business I have believe in and involved with for ten years."
