US: 16 Alila hotels have been introduced to Hyatt’s rewards programme following the brand’s acquisition just nine months ago.

Resorts in Oman and India were officially integrated today, while others in California and south-east Asia have already successfully joined.

"Alila is an award-winning brand known for its combination of innovative design and eco-luxury in unique locations, set apart by an unprecedented level of private space, crafted artisanship, personalised hospitality, and bespoke journeys," said Amy Weinberg, senior vice president at World of Hyatt.

Not only will the Alila brand integration present World of Hyatt members with more opportunities to earn and redeem points, but will also offer the chance to participate in specially-curated experiences that align with Hyatt's three landmarks of wellbeing: feel, fuel, and function.

With more than 16 million World of Hyatt members, such loyalty alliances have so far this year led to 82 percent of its cache book directly through Hyatt, with one-third of its members accounting for room bookings.

The expansion of Hyatt's loyalty scheme began June 25th 2019 and has seen more than 40 hotels across the Thompson Hotels and Joie de Vivre brands become enlisted.

The Destination Hotels brand will be following later this year, with some locations participating in August.
