NZ: Singapore-based private hotel owner, Naumi Hotels, has acquired its second hotel in Queenstown, New Zealand.

The acquisition of Central Ridge Boutique Hotel comes soon after a similar deal with The Dairy Private Hotel, also located in Queenstown.

Gaurang Jhunjhnuwala, CEO of Naumi Hotels, Australia and New Zealand, remarked: "To have not just one, but two hotels in Queenstown city centre reinforces our commitment to bringing Naumi to tourism hotspots in New Zealand."

Jhunjhuwala added: "It will increase our brand awareness in the South Island and further bolster the Group's growth in major cities around the world."

The Central Ridge Boutique Hotel will undergo a renovation of its guest rooms and facilities to align the accommodation with the Naumi brand. Although scheduled to be completed in 2020, the hotel will remain open for business.

"One of our foremost priorities is to improve guest satisfaction at our hotels through a range of key initiatives to be introduced over the coming months," said Chris McIntosh, COO of Naumi Hotels, Australia and New Zealand.

The company now owns and manages seven properties throughout Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia.
