Epoque Collection to open first OMMA Santorini hotel in Imerovigli

Greece: Greek luxury hospitality management company Epoque Collection is opening its first OMMA Santorini property in Imerovigli in early July.

In a press release, the firm said it was aiming OMMA Santorini would soon become known for its "uncompromising standards" of service and quality.

Its name derives from the ancient Greek word "omma" (ὄμμᾰ), which means "vision".

Epoque Collection CEO Dimos Stasinopoulos said: "Our dream is to showcase an authentic tailor-made and unforgettable experience for every single guest that visits our properties leaving a mark in each destination."

The new hotel is built in a unique spot on the caldera, offering panoramic 360 views. It combines tranquil atmosphere with Cycladic and minimalistic design tones, as well as personalised services and authentic tastes.

OMMA Santorini will feature 30 individually designed rooms and suites, with most featuring private plunge pools.

In addition, OMMA also has villas with private pools and one-bedroom setups that cater particularly to couples. Meanwhile, spacious outdoor areas provide an ideal setting for bespoke events.

Gastronomy will be at the heart of the guest experience at the hotel, with the OMMA All Day Restaurant leading the way forward with a menu curated by executive chef Dimitris Stamoudis.

OMMA will offer a gym, as well as unique wellbeing services at its branded spa and personalised treatments with Elemis products thanks to the hotel's spa experts.

Renowned Greek architect Dimitris Agiostratitis of 1Architects, and interior designer Afroditi Bonatsou of Stones & Walls, spearheaded the extensive refurbishment of the property.
