UK: L’oscar Hotel London has been awarded Europe’s ‘Leading New Boutique Hotel’ at the World Travel Awards (WTA).

The recognised travel brands in Europe were unveiled at a star-studded gala ceremony in Maderia, attended by many of the biggest names in the travel industry.

Michael Voight, general manager of L'oscar Hotel London, said: "We are delighted to have received the award of Europe's 'Leading New Boutique Hotel 2019' presented during the World Travel Awards last week. The team is thrilled and L'oscar is going from strength to strength."

L'oscar, inspired by Oscar Wilde, is the first Jacques Garcia-designed hotel in London and opened its doors in September 2018. The Grade II-listed building, a former headquarters of the Baptist church, has been converted into a 39-bedroom hotel that has been restored and re-imagined in all its Baroque glory.

L'oscar says it is a place to both stay and play, with a diverse offering of restaurants, cafes, bars and leisure spaces making it a popular destination for guests.

Room prices start from £450 per night.
