Kessler Collection breaks ground on Grand Bohemian Hotel Greenville

US: The Kessler Collection has held a grounded-breaking ceremony for the Grand Bohemian Hotel Greenville, in Greenville, North Carolina.

During the ceremony, local dignitaries including Mayor Knox White and interim city manager and director of economic development, Nancy Whitworth, as well as  executives from The Kessler Collection were present.

"Today marks a special day as The Kessler Collection officially breaks ground on Grand Bohemian Hotel Greenville, becoming apart of a city with great vision and a community dedicated to its rich heritage," said Richard Kessler, chairman and CEO of The Kessler Collection. "The location is uniquely dramatic, situated in the heart of downtown Greenville, overlooking the Reedy River. There will be no other hotel in the state of South Carolina with such tranquil ambiance created by natural beauty."

Set to open in 2021, the 187-room hotel will feature 30 suites complete with balconies, signature Poseidon Spa, a vibrant art collection curated by Richard  Kessler, indoor and outdoor event spaces, and a two-storey restaurant and bar.
