UK: The hotel will arrive in the UK’s capital, housed in the former Whiteleys department store in West London.

Redevelopment of the store in Bayswater into a 110-key hotel will be undertaken by a Meyer Bergman-advised fund, with residential real estate developer, Finchatton, as the development manager.

The interiors will be designed by AvroKO in partnership with lead architects EPR and Foster + Partners.

The original Grade II facade, central courtyard and dome, and the internal staircase will all be preserved, and contemporary art from British artists will be showcased throughout.

In addition to the rooms, 14 branded residences as well as a new 'club' concept will be introduced.

The club, located on the second floor, will include a central bar and lounge, co-working spaces, a restaurant and wellness rooms.

Marcus Meijer, CEO of Meyer Bergman, said: "We are very excited to announce the partnership with Six Senses. It's a key element in the transformation of Whiteleys as well as the wider Queensway regeneration plan. The Six Senses brand stands for luxury, design, wellness and sustainability - values that form the keystone of our vision for this vibrant part of London".
