US: Located in downtown Denver, The Curtis has appointed Megan Pierce to help generate group revenue for the 336-room hotel.

With over a decade of hospitality leadership experience, Pierce most recently served as associate director of sales for Embassy Suites in Denver. Here, she held several management roles across catering services and group sales departments.

"The Curtis is a hotel that has always enticed me with its inviting culture, an awesome offering and #StayHappy mantra," said Pierce. "I'm looking forward to joining the team and working alongside leaders who are doing great things for the property. I'm confident the relationships I have built in the community, combined with my drive to bring fresh ideas to the department, will help grow group business and bring in clients that align with The Curtis mindset".

Lizzie Raudenbush, director of sales and marketing at The Curtis, said: "The Curtis sales squad is thrilled to have Megan join our team. Her hustle as a sales leader is truly impressive, but what sets her apart is her ability to give those teams a personalised and memorable experience that keeps them coming back. I'm confident her exceptional sales and communication skills will be pivotal in helping us grow group revenue and secure business from teams that have previously gone elsewhere".

The Curtis, a DoubleTree by Hilton property, is a retro-chic boutique hotel that features custom artwork, Hilton Sweet Dreams beds, a fitness centre, restaurant and bar, and 28,000 square-feet of event space. It is managed by Sage Hospitality.
