Coventry’s Hotel Indigo set for green light

UK: Plans for a new four-star, five-storey hotel in Friargate has been put forward by Castlebridge Group, and is recommended for approval ahead of decision.

The site, which will be operated by Hotel Indigo, will contain 100 rooms, a ground floor bar and restaurant, and a small gym.

Around £20 million is to be invested in the development, and the project said to create 42 full-time and 21 part-time jobs.

If approved by councillors on Thursday December 19, work will begin at the start of next year, with the hotel scheduled to open in spring 2021.
