Ireland: A Victorian banking hall is on the market at a guide price of €4.5 million, with planning permission for a 58-room hotel.

The property, located at 71 South Mall in Cork city, is being brought to the market by JLL.

Designed by the renowned firm, Scott Tallon Walker Architects, its plans for conversion include a new-build bedroom block extension to the rear and side of the five-bay building.

The permitted scheme also provides for a large, double-height restaurant, bar, cafe, and hotel reception area fronting South Mall.
