Germany: Lukas Willhöft joined the head office team on 1 November 2019.

Willhöft will focus on identifying development opportunities in target European markets, and will be responsible for signing operating agreements and managing negotiations through all phases. He will work closely with chief development officer, Florian Kollenz.

"I am delighted to be able to further promote the expansion of 25hours in Europe's pulsing metropolises together with the team. Across the whole continent, we see a variety of attractive and exciting hotspots, in which a 25hours hotel would present an innovative highlight on the hotel market," said Willhöft.

In previous roles, Willhöft gained national and international experience with the Hyatt Hotel Group, and from 2014 took on the responsibility of strategic and operative management, as well as hotel design and consultation at CENTINAL real estate GmbH.

"A 25hours Hotel in every cool city. That's our motto, which we are using to drive our expansion forward," added Kollenz. "I am delighted that we have an expert on board in Lukas, whose focus lies on southern and Central Europe. We are certain that, with his experience in the hotel sector, we can increase our rate of expansion in Europe. We plan to expand the term with further development directors of Europe who will focus on norther and Eastern Europe".
