UK: The four-star, 155-key hotel in Cambridge will be rebranded by the Dalata group to become Clayton Hotel Cambridge.

Dalata will operate the hotel under a 30-year lease, marking the group's third London property in its portfolio.

An additional five bedrooms will be included in the rebrand, increasing the total room count to 160.

Dermot Crowley, deputy CEO for business development and finance at Dalata, said: "The acquisition of the leasehold interest of this hotel is another important step in our stated strategy of expanding our Maldron & Clayton brands in key cities across the UK. The property is an ideal fit for our Clayton brand, under which we now operate nine hotels across seven cities in the UK".

Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds and Manchester are some of the UK locations which Dalata Hotel Group operate Clayton hotels.

Earlier this year, the group announced plans to debut its Maldron Hotels brand in London's Shoreditch area.
