Germany: Anna Hoffmann joined 25hours Hotel Das Tour as its general manager on November 1, 2019.

Hoffmann, who has been with the company since 2011, previously held the position of operations manager at Das Tour.

"I am looking forward to beginning my new chapter with a great deal of passion, and to leading the team with warmth and cordiality," said Hoffmann.

Prior to this post, Hoffmann held various roles in Hamburg including assistant food and beverage manager at Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg, and management assistant at The George.

Bart Felix, director of operations at 25hours Hotel Company, added: "With Anna, we have been able too entrusts a management position to a committed and popular colleague from our own ranks".

Hoffmann is a successful graduate from the company's internal 25hours Growth Program. The training is for those in management positions to enhance professional expertise and to broaden individual perspective of departmental know-how to encompass the hotel as a whole.

This system for nurturing talent has also contributed to the development of other colleagues such as Feray Özcan, who will be taking over Hoffmann's former role as operations manager from her current senior sales and marketing manager role. Özcan's new position will be effective January 2020.

Co-founded in 2005, 25hours Hotel Company currently operates 13 hotels in German-speaking countries, as well as one in Paris.

Upcoming openings are scheduled in Florence and Dubai next year, as well as Copenhagen in 2021.
