Germany: Co-founder and CEO of 25Hours Hotel Company, Christoph Hoffmann, will be the recipient of the AHEAD Europe 2019 Outstanding Contribution Award later this month.

The Awards for Hospitality Experience and Design (AHEAD) are dedicated to "the relentless pursuit of the exceptional, recognising design in all its forms, and the guest experiences created in hospitality projects worldwide".

This year's ceremony is being held at Battersea Evolution in London on Monday 18 November.

Previous recipients of the Outstanding Contribution Award include Ian Schrager of EDITION Hotels, Barry Sternlicht of Starwood Capital, Nick Jones of Soho House and Petter Stordalen of Strawberry.

Hoffmann founded 25Hours Hotel Company in 2005 with his partners Kai Hollmann, Ardi Godman, and Stephan Gerhard. The group currently operates a global portfolio of 13 hotels in German-speaking countries as well as Paris.

In 2020, the brand is slated to open new hotels in Florence and Dubai, expanding to Copenhagen in 2021 also.

AccorHotels holds a 50 per cent stake in 25Hours Hotel following an alliance in 2016. Hotel projects are being jointly pursued.
