The Dryfesdale Hotel rebrands as OYO

Scotland: Located in Lockerbie, the Dryfesdale Hotel has come under the OYO brand, marking OYO’s first four-star property in Scotland.

Owned by Glen Wright since 2004, the Dryfesdale Hotel will continue to operate under its existing management with OYO working to optimise its operations and maintain its visibility.

Wright said: "Dryfesdale Hotel has been running very successfully for the last 15 years, thanks in no small part to our fantastic team, but now with OYO's support and expertise, we're looking forward to about even brighter future".

As well as the Dryfesdale Hotel, Wright also owns The Queens Hotel in Lockerbie, which will continue to run independently of OYO.

Jeremy Saunders, head of OYO UK, added: "We're delighted to be working in partnership with Glen Wright at the OYO Dryfesdale Hotel, which is the first four-star OYO Hotel in Scotland".

Established in 2013, OYO is the second largest chain of hotels, homes, and managed living and workspaces worldwide.

It has over 1.2 million rooms across its 35,000 hotels and 125,000 holiday homes in 80 countries.
