Caribbean: Set on 26 acres of tropical gardens, the 8-room boutique hotel is one of the only original and restored plantation houses in Antigua.

The estate has been the home of the Howell family for the past 60 years.

The project involved creating four individual styled suites within the main home, featuring antique furnishings like Chippendale chairs and mahogany four-poster beds.

A further four garden cottage suites, with sea views, include his-and-hers showers, private terraces, all with pyramid rooms and vaulted ceilings.

All meals are included during a guest's stay, and the hotel offers scheduled exercise classes during the week as well as local hikes around the island.

A main pool, pool bar, spa, and dining options are also available, comprising an outdoor courtyard and a candlelit dining room for dinner.
