Davidson Hotels adds Grand Hotel to portfolio

US: Located on Michigan's historic Mackinac Island, Grand Hotel is the latest addition to Davidson Hotels & Resorts’ lifestyle and luxury division, Pivot Hotels & Resorts.

Each of the 397-bedrooms feature its own unique style and theme.

Other amenities include 13 restaurants and bars, Astor's Salon & Spa, an 18-hole golf course, a clay Pickleball court, tennis court, The Esther Williams swimming pool, and the world's longest front porch - measuring 660 feet. 

"The goal of our stewardship is to provide our guests with the same quality, care and service that the Musser family provided over the last eight decades," said Thom Geshay, president at Davidson Hotels & Resorts. "Under our management, we look forward to maintain the property's prominent role in history, as well as its emotional important to our guests, visitors, team members and the Mackinac Island community".

The Grand Hotel opens from the first weekend in May through to the end of October every year.

Davidson Hotels & Resorts, along with its Pivot Hotels & Resorts division, specialises in independent and branded assets in the upper-upscale and near-luxury segments.

Its portfolio includes 45 hotels of 13,000 rooms over 1.5 million square-feet of meeting space across the US.
