US: ALICE – a hotel operations platform – has announced it will expand its business with Nordic Choice Hotels to 130 properties.

ALICE will become the brand standard operations tool for four Nordic Choice brands: Comfort Hotel, Quality Hotel, Clarion Hotel, and Clarion Collection.

Features include the ALICE Suite, which comprises an in-app chat using ALICE's API, two-way communication for room status updates, vibrating alerts, and conversation assignment, as well as software for service delivery, maintenance, and concierge and guest services.

The new ALICE Housekeeping will also help to unify guest and staff communication over one platform, whereby Nordic Choice will become the largest enterprise to use this platform.

Director of future business at Nordic Choice, Christian Lundén, commented: "People see us as being a very innovative company when it comes to their travel. We monitor and develop what kind of areas we should develop in the future, so that we are not only making money on hotel rooms but also creating extraordinary experiences."

Justin Effron, CEO at ALICE, said: "Regional brands and enterprise users have been some of the greatest contributors to new ALICE functionality, from preventative maintenance to portfolio management tools, to group reporting and filtering. I've been inspired by our rapid growth in Europe, and I'm looking forward to further acceleration with Nordic Choice - a partner focused on leading technology to pioneer innovation within the hospitality industry."

ALICE was founded in 2013 and works with more than 2,500 hotels across brands like Viceroy Hotel Group, Firmdale Hotels, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and more.

Nordic Choice Hotels has over 17,000 employees in the Nordic and Baltic countries working in over 200 hotels.
