Denmark: Caverion will be responsible for the heating and sanitation, electricity, and security at a hotel in the centre of Copenhagen.

Technical maintenance company, Caverion, has signed an agreement with construction firm MBG Entreprise A/S to work on a new Scandic hotel. The value of the agreement is undisclosed.

The 100-room property will be converted from an office building, which is owned by ATP Real Estate.

Executive vice president at Caverion, Carsten Sørensen, said: "We are proud to be chosen to this project and are excited to participate in the renovation of a very centrally located building. The logistic challenges will be significant, but we are ready to meet them with our strong collaboration with MGB Entreprise A/S and the teams of other supplies."

Caverion will deliver the project in line with DGNB certification - a silver sustainability qualification for both materials and professional deliveries.

Work has already begun, and is expected to be completed in November 2020.

The hotel is scheduled to open by the end of the same year.
