New Zealand: A 225-room hotel will form part of a 131-metre high mixed-use tower on Auckland’s Albert Street.

The downtown Auckland development will open in 2021 and is being built by developer Ninety Four Feet at a cost of $250 million. It will feature residential apartments, restaurants and bars as well as the hotel.

"Auckland is becoming recognised as one of the world's key gateway cities, and is consistently one of the top 10 most liveable in the world," said Dean Rzechta, managing director of Ninety Four Feet Property Development.

A heritage listed building on the site will be restored and incorporated into the new hotel.
