UK: Criterion Capital has opened its latest London hotel, the Assembly on Charing Cross Road.

Guest rooms are described as "stripped back, focusing on everything that really matters; super comfy beds, soft fluffy pillows, a walk-in power shower, incredible sound proofing, air conditioning and super strong WI-FI".

Designed by architects, Scott Brownrigg, each of the 121 guest bedrooms is inspired by the works of London designers Stella McCartney, Gareth Pugh and Alexander McQueen, all of whom studied at the nearby London's Central Saint. Martin's College of Art and Design.

Room categories are called Snug, Nest, Pad and Den.

Later this summer, Assembly will launch its roof top "sky hangout" as well as a bar food and cocktail menu coming soon.

The Assembly is operated by Bespoke Hotels, which signed a deal to manage several of Criterion Capital's London properties in September 2016.
