Switzerland: citizenM has announced plans to open a 160-room hotel in Zurich.
The citizenM Swiss flagship, in a building owned by Balintra AG, c/o UBS Fund Management (Switzerland) AG, will be located in Zurich’s commercial district.
citizenM Zurich will feature 160 bedrooms, four society M rooms and canteenM. Swiss-based firm Halter AG is undertaking the construction with guidance from UBS and citizenM.
The building is a conversion of an existing listed property and the teams will be preserving a number of its original distinctive features.
The property, which will open in 2019, will the 14th citizenM location.
